Today I figured I would leave the topic of online dating and focus less on GETTING a date and more on what to DO on a date. You may be surprised to hear that there is an entire section in psychology dedicated to dating and romantic love (if you're not surprised, then you're like me and love watching those Human Species shows on the Discovery Channel).

So yes, there is a science to dating.

One of the conclusions the real world "love doctors" have come to relates to the concept of body "chemistry". Think about that guy or girl of your dreams becoming a reality. What happens to your body when you are struck by a crush? Your heart beats a little faster, your palms sweat, and your stomach may even do a mini-flip. This physical reaction is translated in your heart and head as GOOD sexual chemistry.

These reactions and what they mean are the bases for many psychological studies. Psychologists have discovered that if you can artificially create these types of physical reactions in your date, there stands a better chance for a second date. Why? Because you tend to relate these physical reactions not to what you are doing but to whom you are with.

4. Amusement parks. Nothing like a roller coaster ride to get your heart pounding, your stomach jumping and may even get you clinging to each other out of fear!

5. A jog through the park. Exercise can get your heart racing and will put some color in your cheeks, making you look healthy and naturally sexy. It will also give you a chance to show off your body to your date if you want.

Now, I am not a scientist, so I do not want you to think that if you follow this advice you will be in a serious relationship after one date, but why not try it out and see what happens? The worst could be that you get hyped up on caffeine, have an extra dessert one day or get an extra workout in during the week.
